Office of the Secretary, Women's Bureau formulates standards and policies that promote the welfare of wage earning women, improve their working conditions, increase their efficiency, advance their opportunities for profitable employment, and investigate and report on all matters pertinent to the welfare of women in industry. <104Office of Disability Employment Policy (17.720) Established to bring a heightened and permanent long-term focus to the goal of increasing employment of persons with disabilities. This is achieved through policy analysis, technical assistance, development of best practices, and outreach to persons with disabilities and employers. The Office develops and implements innovative pilot programs that integrate both youth and adults with signficant disabilities into mainstream workforce programs.
